He subsequently pursued subspecialty training in neuroradiology, developing advanced skills in brain, head/neck, and spine imaging as well as minimally invasive spine and pain procedures.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Brown also holds a PhD in molecular biology, completing his doctoral work at the National Institutes of Health, efforts that have led to many peer-reviewed publications and grant funding from the Radiological Society of North America. His research interests focus on pain mechanisms and image-guided pain interventions with the goal of advancing selective pain medicine while reducing unwanted side effects.

Dr. Brown grew up in Midway, UT and attended Brigham Young University and appreciates what a unique place Utah is to live and work in. He enjoys spending free time with his family and time outdoors fly fishing, skiing, and backpacking.

His professional associations include the Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology and American Society of Neuroradiology.
