Dr. Trimble is a board certified, fellowship trained Neuroradiologist who specializes in general diagnostic radiology with an emphasis in imaging of the brain, head, neck and spine. He has expertise in both diagnosis and treatment of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak syndromes through minimally invasive image-guided techniques. Dr. Trimble also specializes in imaging-guided treatment of spinal pain.

Prior to joining Utah Radiology Associates, Dr. Trimble was on staff as a clinical instructor at Johns Hopkins University where he helped oversee the training of residents and fellows in diagnostic neuroradiology. He has authored eleven peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters in the field of radiology. Dr. Trimble is a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Trimble graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. He completed a dual M.D., M.B.A degree at the University of California Irvine, after which he completed a transitional year internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Dr. Trimble completed a four year residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center where he served as chief resident in his final year. He finished his training with a fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins University.

Together with his wife and four children, he enjoys traveling, home improvement projects, and spending time on the lake. When not at the hospital, ballet recitals, or Taekwondo competitions, Dr. Trimble enjoys playing acoustic and electric guitar.
